Webinar – Using PX Tools to Deploy Software for AEC (2021 Part 2)
Recently, Parallax gave a webinar that demonstrated and discussed our deployment process. Check it out below!
We build fully populated, high fidelity models: Every detail and "typical condition" is fully modeled, and validated. If it can't work in our model, it won't work when it gets built physically. Our Reconciliation Workflow can also be used to validate Contract Documents, through Modeling.
Many Practice Technology Platforms can benefit from some customizations or Deployment strategies that can only be handled at install time: Revu, Revit, AutoCAD Verticals, Dynamo, 3rd party add-ins, Navisworks, and even MS Office. Standardization in Deployment has immediate gains, for all offices.
An "easy to use" piece of content that cannot accurately represent the Built Environment, is not successful. Our Content Libraries are highly optionable and configurable: Not to show an inappropriate level of detail, but to show all of the decisions made, and to convey Design Intent accurately.
If you are looking for Dynamo-based project solutions or training, you have come to the right place. We are well-known for our Dynamo implementation, solutions, and contributions. With over 125,000 Dynamo package downloads, you can say we like Dynamo.
When out-of-the-box software doesn’t cut it, we develop custom software solutions to suit your needs. A large portion of our focus is on adding functionality to Revit, to simply make it better.
In addition to working with your firm to achieve your goals, we can train your teams on the latest technologies and processes in the AEC Industry. We offer training classes for all levels of Revit and Dynamo. Have an idea on another topic? Feel free to reach out!
Practice Technology has been a part of the AEC industry since the earliest recorded history. That technology has taken on various forms based on the technological advancements of each time period, but the fact remains true:
Sometimes technology is an answer. Sometimes technology is the problem. Sometimes technology is neither, bur our captivation with it distracts us from looking at the issue critically. Sometimes a technology can be used for things outside of its original intent, to solve a problem in a new and dynamic way.
Parallax Team has been working in the AEC space for over fifteen years, leveraging the latest technology when it is beneficial. We have worked extensively in Building Information Modeling, design-build and design-assist situations, Integrated Project Delivery formats, with direct-design-to-fabrication workflows, and in fully collaborative environments with multiple disciplines participating. But we have also worked without technology, on managing processes, workflows, projects, people, and less than ideal situations.
We are critical thinkers and problem solvers. Not technology, hardware, or software pushers. We develop workflows, and strategies, and processes that get teams to the finish line, to help deliver quality projects.
We can help you elevate your BIM Implementation, where there are improvements to be made. And that isn’t limited to the technology side: We delve into office standards, practices, collaboration, and evaluating the entire project process (including the teams) to get you to the results you (and your clients) want.
At Parallax Team, Lauren leads our push into more landscape and site-oriented solutions. She has spoken at various conferences and maintains a personal blog, landarchbim.com, which focuses on Revit and Dynamo workflows.
We have appreciated the practical Parallax approach to BIM Implementation. Under Parallax advisement we were able to identify strategic workflow improvements customized to our office environment and work product. Parallax assisted us in creating office standards, custom libraries and templates that have improved efficiency and consistency throughout our work. Our investment in Parallax services has proven constructive in both our improved user experience and our refined document output.
Thanks Parallax!
Parallax Team modeled one of our custom home designs. They went above and beyond our expectations and delivered a model and set of documents in less time, with higher quality, than we expected. They even solved design issues along the way. I highly recommend Parallax Team for all you modeling needs.
